Full description
This doorstop has been handmade in Norfolk from a reclaimed oak beam sourced from a local salvage yard.
The beam was originally part of a roof structure. The wood is packed full of character, and there are cracks and splits in it (although it is still very solid).
This piece was hand sawn to size, cleaned, sanded, then had a red and white paint effect applied and then waxed to bring out the grain and protect the wood. The handle is made from a rusty old metal ring which has remains of green paint on it. There is a black felt base to protect any surfaces this is placed on and a copper hand stamped Reclaimed Time label on the back.
This would look beautiful in your home or make a truly unique gift for someone special.
Please note this is a heavy piece of wood hence the high postage price.
