Full description
This necklace features wonderful moss green Seraphinite, a rare gemstone from Siberia, with its feathery patterns of shimmering silver crystals. The natural patterns of this gemstone look like the patterns made by ice crystals during a hard frost - with a similar shimmer too - just lovely!
I have created this necklace using round beads, each being slightly off shape due to the nature of the gemstone and the fact they are cut by hand. I have inter-spaced the stones with sterling silver doughnut shaped beads. They are strung and knotted by hand to create movement and strength.
The necklace closes with a high quality sterling silver rose hook and eye clasp, which has been stamped 925 for sterling silver.
The focal stone is a softly rounded rectangle. It really shows off the natural feathery crystal pattern and the shimmering effect of the gemstone. The necklace measures 18 inches long approx. The pendant drops just over 2 inches from the necklace, from a hand finished and polished sterling silver bail. The bail stamped 925 for sterling silver.
