Full description
This doorstop has been handmade in Norfolk from a large reclaimed pine beam sourced from a local salvage yard.
The beam was originally part of a roof structure. The wood is packed full of character, the beautiful tree growth rings can be seen on the top of the doorstop and there are cracks and splits in it (although it is still very solid).
This piece was hand sawn to size, cleaned, sanded, then had a red, white and blue paint effect applied and then waxed to bring out the grain and protect the wood. The handle is made from a rusty old metal ring. There is a black felt base to protect any surfaces this is placed on and a copper hand stamped Reclaimed Time label on the back.
This would look beautiful in your home or make a truly unique gift for someone special.
Please note this is a heavy piece of wood hence the high postage price.
