Inspiration for my work comes from the idea of finding beauty in the function of simple pots. Most of us use ceramics everyday, especially in the kitchen. Taking time to drink tea from your favourite mug, or eat soup from an honest bowl can be a simple, background pleasure in life.
I throw all my pots by hand on a pottery wheel, and enjoy throwing as many elements as possible: even lids and knobs. Most of my pottery is made using stoneware clay. Stoneware has a firm texture which I feel best reflects a rustic influence and the plain style of my pottery.
Most of all I hope people enjoy using my pots.

Full description
Create atmosphere in your home and garden with this simple ceramic bell glazed in white and blue. Hand-thrown using stoneware clay, this bell features a small hoop handle which allows it to be used both as a hand bell or hung from a cord to chime in the breeze.
This bell is fitted with a small wooden bead attached to a brown suede cord to act as a clangor. The bell is especially suited for indoor use but can also be used outdoors in clement seasonable conditions.
The bell measures about 7cm high (including handle) and 6cm across (2.7 inches x 2.3 inches). It is glazed on the outside only using a deep navy blue glaze and a white satin matte finish.
This bell is one of a kind. Please note that slight variations in glaze and decoration are a nature of handmade ceramics.
This is a listing for one bell with fitted wooden bead clangor and clangor suede cord only. The string used for hanging in the photos is not included.
