Full description
This set of Beech bowls has been made from a 200 year old tree that came down in strong winds. Both bowls have a mild degree of spalting pattern inside and out. The outer bowl has decorative rings running around its outside. Whilst the inner bowl, in contrast, is smooth from the base to the rim.
After turning, the bowls has been sanded perfectly smooth then finished with multiple treatments of food safe mineral oil.
To care for the bowls wash in mild soapy water and dry with a soft cloth. If the wood becomes dry it can be re-nourished with vegetable or olive oil.
