Fused glass sun catcher of poppies in the landscape. The glass is 13cm x 18cm tall and it is mounted into a wooden block 10cm x 7cm x 3cm. Each colour of glass is individually cut then assembled on a clear back in piece before being fired in a kiln and fused together into one piece.

Living in the countryside I love the harvest time and especially the red poppies against the golden corn. Here I have tried to re-create one of those hot August days with the combine harvesters bringing in the crops, blue skies and red poppies! It would lovely in a window with the sun behind or use the wooden block for a candle.
