Full description
This is a beautiful circular platter in turned, light wood: a label on its base states that it was made by artisans in Wales. Measuring approx 29 cm at its widest point, it has since been lovingly updated with a stylish decoupaged lining of vintage British Christmas stamps, including the very first set ever produced, which date back to 1966!
Attractive and colourful, the platter is bound to provoke conversations about who can remember which stamps! It would make a stunning centrepiece or a stylish plate for your mince pies.
The decoupage has been sealed with at least ten coats of gloss varnish, rendering the bowl durable and wipeable clean.
I am very happy to post overseas: please enquire for specific rates.
