This listing is for 20m of three-ply french linen thread Fil Auch Chinois, Lin Restors Nr. 40, on a star card like you can see in the pictures.
Linen thread is especially strong, and abrasion resistant. This thread here is very slightly waxed. This makes it easier to use and gives it a pleasant sheen.
This thread can be used as heavy duty sewing thread for solid stitching (button, snaps, heavy fabrics, ...), is used for sewing leather, and is ideal for threading beads, model-making, odd jobs, ...I am using it for bookbinding when I want an especially thin thread, for mini books in particular.
Please choose your colour from the chart in one of the pictures.
This is a thin and yet very strong sewing thread. It is ideal for heavy duty seams and buttons, for sewing thin leather, and for beading small beads.
And it's perfect for miniature books
