Full description
This card is unique. It is a one-off, there is no other the same.
It is made from a battered old copy of 'Music Together' by Geoffrey Winters, with this wonderful illustration by David McKee. It was published by Longman in 1978, making the front of this card 35 years old. It is not a copy, it is made from the actual book. I used to carry this book to school every Tuesday between 1979 and 1980! If you would like to know more about this, please check out my blog, alisonsye.com.
Everything used in the making of this card was rescued from the bin, so it is very eco-friendly. I have sewn the picture onto a used cereal box.
I do not cut up healthy books, nor do I remove the blemishes left by life.
It measures 9.6cms x 9.6cms when folded, and is left bank inside for your own message.
It comes with a made-to-measure, sewn, upcycled envelope. Two stickers are provided to seal the gap (see image).
You can see from the picture that this card displays details of my old website. This is why I am selling it at less than half the price of my current work.
