This sketchbook cover would make a lovely gift for anyone who loves to sketch or keep notes somewhere special and the long narrow format makes it just a little more individual.
The soft green and purple cover is made from merino and Falklands wool fibres and mohair yarn which I have hand felted. I have added some stitched lines to the finished felt.
The journal cover is fully lined in grey-green cotton and the edges are stitched in variegated cotton thread using zig-zag stitch. The sketchbook slips easily into the cover and can be replaced with a new blank book when needed, so the cover can be used and enjoyed over again.
The quality sketchbook is spiral wire bound with hard covers and contains 35 leaves of white 150gsm acid free drawing cartridge paper. It is approximately 4”x8” in landscape format (i.e. bound on the short edge).
This listing is for the 4”x8” handmade felt cover in the photographs and one 4”x8” sketchbook.
The sketchbook/cover will be carefully wrapped and posted via Royal Mail 1st class Signed For service for UK delivery. Standard Airmail service will be used for international delivery.
