I love the effect of reticulated silver (where the surface is melted) but I wasn't sure weather this method would work. The process makes for a much heavier piece as I am using off cuts rather that useing cut to order pieces at bullion prices. The effect looks like mercury or polished lava. The last phot shows an example of how these pieces start off.

I use this technique to use up lots of bit that its unlikely I could use for anything else, so its very much recycling. I have piled up the pieces and then melted them until it looks right, and added more pieces if necessary. This process causes serious blackening of the silver so it has to be treated until it comes up wonderfully shiney. I have curved it slightly and drilled and fastened together with soldered jump rings.
This piece is heavy and chunky.
The length of the bracelet is 16 cm then together with the heavy curb chain extender , the maximum length is 24 cm so it will fit anyone. The chain is finished with a hand made by me limpit fine silver charm.
