I loved the idea of making a piece with rough spirals and then setting it with different sized gemstones of all different types. So it would be a 'rainbow gemstone' peice. This is the second piece as I made a bracelet first.
This piece has quite a rustic and organic feel which is offset by the glittering gemstones.

Full description
This necklace has been made from sterling silver wire that has been shaped into rough spirals and battered. I have then hand made settings for various size stones. The central stone for this peice is a massive 6 mm amethyst, then there is a 5 mm peridot and a 4 mm citrine.
These are connected by soldered jump rings and the sterling chain it is set on is doubled over. The length of the centrepeice is 7 cm and the entire length is 48 cm or 18.5 inches. It is set with a silver lobster clasp.
All silver is European standard from a bullion dealer in Birmingham.
Items will normally be packaged in bubble wrap, tissue paper and a beautiful organza bag, with a few dried rose petals then in a padded envelope. I am happy to include a card or box if it is for a gift.
