Inspiration: This was a plate from my zine 'The Hare that Flew'that I worked into a print because I liked it.

Process: I painted the acetates and then used a photo emulsion to make the screen, then I added the hare using a hand carved rubber stamp.

Make it a gift for a friend needing abundance (and frankly, who doesn't?), a magical mystic friend who loves nature- especially if that friend is you. Frame it for a wall; post it to a friend; pop it in a scrapbook. Don't forget to see my matching springtime daisy fox underground print.

Full description

The heat of the summer drifts like fallen leaves through autumn into a cold winter, just as the day fades into night, but hare doesn't mind, she's safe and warm underground. Don't tell me hares don't live underground, this one does, it's because she germinating like a little seed, ready to spring back to life once the season turns again. Or maybe she's' a rabbit. They live in burrows, right?

Size: Printed by me on acid free, smooth, A5 heavy weight cartridge paper. A5 is 148 x 210 mm (5.8 x 8.3 inches). Fits standard sized frames. Comes in a 8x10 a mount.

Materials: I use water based (eco friendly) acrylic inks in black as a base over a sky of pale lilac to brick red. I hand stamped a red hare to make a unique decorative artprint. All materials are archival to last as an heirloom into the future. All materials are archival to last as an heirloom into the future.

Important stuff: My screenprints are hand printed and hand registered by eye and unlike computer generated images are subject to slight variations that make each a unique piece of art.
