Inspired by the ceramic friezes in Norwich's Royal Arcade, this is my own design. I photographed the original fox at a children's petting zoo; he had been rescued after a car accident but could not be returned to the wild because of his injuries.

Full description
Sleeping Fox has been painted in an Art Nouveau style, in Gouache. The painting uses a palette of rich colour with gold highlighting, like the ceramic friezes which inspired him.
The colour palette matches that of my other paintings, Hare, Squirrel, and Robin, so any combination of these paintings would work well as a group.
The image measures 290mm x 185mm, with a border suitable for mounting.
