I recently illustrated a children's book and this little white mouse was one of the characters I created. It seemed a shame to say goodbye to him once the book went to publication, so I thought I'd give him his freedom to do what he wanted and enjoy himself with this series of art cards around the theme "While the cat's away the mouse will play". So now he's getting to do all sorts of fun things, from chess to mountaineering. Who knows what he'll be getting up to next...?

This ACEO is an archival quality print of my original pen and watercolour wash painting. It is part of a series of works based around the theme While the cat's away the mouse will play. Take a look at the other ACEO's in the series, originals and prints, also for sale in my shop. ACEO stands for Art Cards Editions and Originals, they are collectable miniature works of art created in any medium always measuring 2.5 x 3.5 inches, They can be collected in an album to browse and enjoy, these pocket sized portraits look wonderful framed too.
This quality reproduction is printed on acid-free archival matte paper using archival inks. This means that the colours should remain true for 100 years framed behind glass out of direct sunlight, or 200 years displayed in an album. Each print is signed on the reverse and comes with its' own certificate of authenticity.The finished 2.5x3.5 print will be delivered unframed and unmounted in a clear plastic protective sleeve, ready for you to display according to your own requirements.
The print will be packaged in its' own card backed wallet and sent in a padded envelope for protection. Free UK postage! Shipping will be within two working days.
