I love making things from driftwood, the medium is so natural and tactile. I get great pleasure from producing shapes from random pieces of driftwood, it is time consuming, but good fun.

I have made a Celtic Cross style driftwood wallhanging, all the pieces of driftwood were picked up from beaches in Cornwall earlier this year.
The cross is about 11" long and has a plywood backing. I will supply a length of garden twine and an eye in the back so that it can be hung up and displayed.
This is ideal for an old cottage, beach hut or for someone with a love of the sea.
The one pictured in the photograph is an example, yours will be very similar indeed, all are handmade and vary sightly depending on the driftwood available.
I can make to order, if you would prefer a lager or smaller version, please ask. I also make other shaped items such as fish, reptiles, starfish, butterflies, etc.
