All jewellery listed here that says silver is sterling silver, I do not use silver plate at all. There will be elements of sterling silver in every design (except keyrings), some will be completely so, others may have combinations of copper, brass, bronze, glass, enamel, pewter, resin, upcycled biscuit tins and pre-decimal coins and/or semi-precious stones as well. Many of the designs are one-of-a-kind.
I'm really into gardening, especially growig my own fruit and vegetables. We've also got a pond and it's lovely to see all the wildlife it attracts, particularly pondskaters, the birds coming for a drink and a bath and these dragonflies.

Etched and painted pewter dragonfly brooch with sterling silver brooch fastener. Approximately 3.5 x 3.5 cms. The glass paint used is in shades of turquoise, blue, green, purple, mauve, yellow, cream
N.B. colour combinations may vary slightly.
It will be sent in presentation box via the Royal Mail Signed For service in the UK. Cleaning guide provided.
Using pewter enables me to etch in a metal that can look as shiny as silver but because it is not such an expensive material, I can experiment more and sometimes do designs on a larger scale.
In case you are wary, the pewter that you find today including the metal I use, does NOT contain lead and therefore is a shiny silver colour. It is made up of tin, copper and antimony and unlike silver and other metals, pewter does not tarnish so easily.
