Full description
This card is unique, there is no other the same. It is not a print of an embroidery, it is an original embroidery. Although there are 9 which are similar. I will not be making any more.
It is made from a used cereal box and old clothes, too battered to be passed on to another wearer. You can find out more about the history of these clothes on my blog (alisonsye.com), where I record the making of my work in much more detail. You can also find me on Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest.
It measures 8cms x 9.5cms (when folded), comes with a sewn upcycled envelope, and is left blank inside for your own message. The envelope comes with stickers for sealing, see image.
