As a family we LOVE cinema and I've been pondering on making different pieces on the theme for a while. Initially I planned to create the classic camera shape just with vintage buttons and a few badges representing favourite films but the list of films got longer and longer... Thanks must go to my lovely husband who was helping me research and discovered the serendipitous fact that although cinema had been around for a while the first feature length film was made in Hollywood 100 years ago. Everything just came together after that. Two busy weeks of research and design later and '100 Years at the Movies' was born!
It was a complete pleasure to make, a real treat to immerse myself in 100 years of film. I hope you'll love the piece as much as I do.

Full description
In 1914 the first feature length movie to be produced in Hollywood - The Squaw Man - was filmed. This is my celebration of the last 100 years of cinema; one film to represent every year (I had to make some very tough choices!). Some are historic, some iconic, and a few are just my favourites but every one is a classic in its own right.
The piece comes framed as standard in a back frame measuring 50cm x 50cm.
Every one is made to order so please allow up to 21 days for delivery.
If you wish to substitute some of the badges to have some of your own favourite films included please contact me before placing an order. New badges are available at a cost of £2 each.
