I love working with hematite - it combines with so many semi-precious gemstones to give such different looks, and it looks stunning with red jade.
It would create a dramatic look when worn with a little black dress.
Hematite is reputed to reflect negativity back to its source, reduce stress and to act as an aid for good sleep.

Full description
I have made this unusual necklace using 16 mm round semi-precious gemstone hematite doughnuts that encapsulate 8 mm red jade beads.
Each of the jade and hematite rounds are separated with a smaller hematite bead, and the sides and back of the necklace is made using twisted rectangular, rice and tiny round hematite beads.
The necklace is 47.5 cms / 18.75 inches in length.
I have used a round gunmetal coloured clasp to complete the necklace, which makes it easy to fasten and undo.
The necklace will be supplied in an organza gift bag.
