Taking a short break, back September 2025
Crystal rivolis like these (which are round, shaped crystals with no hole) are just crying out to be bezelled, but once you've done that what to do next? I was making a Chatelaine for the 2013 Stitch and Craft Challenge, and as keys were often one of the things hung from them, I started experimenting with key forms. This piece didn't work for the finished Chatelaine, and seems to sit better alone, hence the simple pendant.

Full description
A 14mm crystal rivoli captured in pewter and scarlet Miyuki beads using Peyote stitch, forming a key shaped pendant. The pendant is 6cm long and hangs from a silver coloured chain 60cm long.
Simple, but eye-catching.
This necklace will be packaged in an organza bag, ready for you to give or enjoy yourself.
