Harris Tweed is what is says on the tin (or label) and is defined by law as having been "handwoven by the islanders at their homes in the Outer Hebrides, made from pure virgin wool dyed and spun in the Outer Hebrides".

This bold fuchsia pink, black and grey check Harris Tweed teamed with a speckled dark purple make for a truly eye-catching statement handbag.
Inside the bag is roomy and lined with a lovely soft dove grey polka dot fabric. It also features a handy internal pocket with a pink accent strip, so there's plenty of space for all your essentials!
The silver purse frame is a generous size, and the over sized fastening gives it a modern look. There are external hoops for fastening a strap, which is a detachable shoulder length silver chain.
This is the handbag to have if you want something unique and individual with a splash of colour; it won't be made again and there's only one!
