I really love this particular napkin. I have found that it is now discontinued in the UK and I feel that the alternative versions available are not nearly as delicate or feminine.
I feel it works so well on candles and is a design that suits all different rooms in the house, especially the dining table and bedroom.
I shall continue making these lovely candles until my supply runs out!

I have carefully decorated this unscented white candle with a black lace image from a napkin.
This has given a lovely delicate effect and it really looks like lace – and the textured finish from the napkin even feels rather like lace!
I have ‘wrapped’ the image around the candle so that the lace is visible from all sides.
I have packaged the candle and added a black ribbon so that it might be given as a gift.
The candle is 78mm by 180mm (3" by 7.5" high).

This candle makes a really attractive decoration but the images are fixed with liquid wax glue to make it safe to light.
It would make an unusual and useful gift for a female friend of any age (perhaps together with a matching matchbox – please see my Matchbox listings).
