I try and use as much reclaimed material as possible in my work. Norfolk has lots lovely oak framed barns and buildings which are packed full of charm and character.

When buildings are demolished the oak beams hopefully end up in a local reclamation yard (and not on someone’s fire).

I love a visit to my local yard to sort through the piles of wood to select a piece that can be turned into a beautiful clock which can be admired for years to come

Full description

This clock has been handmade in Norfolk from a lovely old oak beam reclaimed from a local barn. The clock face is made from reclaimed roof slate. The body of the clock has been treated with waxed to show off the grain.

This will look beautiful in your home or make a truly unique gift for someone special.

The clock has a quality quartz movement and takes 1 x AA Battery (included).

The dimensions are:

25cm Tall

9.5cm Wide

10.5cm Deep

As with many old oak beams there is evidence of woodworm on this piece, the woodworm probably left over 100 years ago but to be absolutely sure the wood has been given a woodworm treatment.
