Full description
The box is constructed using solid hardwood with mitre joints and solid brass fittings.
The finish is multi layers of shellac with a final application of wax polish to produce a flat semi-matt surface.
The flower design is made using coloured hardwood veneers and traditional marquetry techniques. I have added decorative stringing as a border to further enhance the design.
It is fully lined with black baize to protect the contents and has soft felt pads to protect the standing surface.
