You don't need to be a collector to be fascinated by postage stamps. I love the sense of lost time in these tiny pieces of postal history, the random evidence of their journeys through postmarks etc. I love being able to capture and encapsulate a fragment of that ephemeral nature in a cute little wearable badge!
The stamps shown on the badges above were designed by Arnold Machin in the 1960s, and his design has become something of a British icon.

The badges you receive will be very similar to those shown above at the same time as being entirely unique! :)
Each pin-back badge measures approx. 1” diameter, and has been upcycled from a genuine, salvaged piece of British ephemera (stamped envelopes that have travelled through the postal system). Each badge will also feature a fragment of postmark, which may be 'killer bars', date circle or a random message stamp from the post office. Not suitable for young children due to small/sharp parts.
Badges packaged in a transparent, self-seal cellophane packet, perfect for gift-giving.
PRESENTATION NOTECARD
Mini notecard measures approx. 7.5 x 5.25cm The front side of the presentation card bears an image of a previously-made selection of orange & brown Machin stamp badges. Cards are professionally printed on 325gsm uncoated, non-laminated FSC card with a wonderfully smooth, matte finish & a blank fountain pen-friendly reverse.
