This postcard is totally unique, there is no other the same.
It is made from an old tablecloth. The tablecloth had eight little embroideries, each depicting a busy multi-tasking lady, mostly with a baby in tow. Each lady is different. I made eight cards from the tablecloth, four postcards and four folding. This listing is for one postcard.
I have sewn the embroidery onto a used cereal box, making the card completely upcycled and very eco-friendly. It is left blank for your own message, so of course you don't have to use it for a 'new baby'.
It measures 16.2cms x 11.5cms (approx).
All of my work is individually numbered, this piece is 170. You can find out more information about its making on my blog, alisonsye.com, where I record the making of my work.
I recommend using gel pen or Biro to write on the card.
