Full description
We have decorated this delightful box with 32 pieces of beach pottery. The pottery has been tumbled so the edges are rounded and smooth. The pictures show the fragments used in this piece have come from a wide range of designs. These include a boat, trees, flowers, a piece of fence and various patterns. The box is untreated raw wood, which gives it a feeling of driftwood which goes perfectly with the historic look of the pottery.
The jewellery box is 5 cm (approx 2 inches) high, and 11.5 cm (approx 4.5 inches) square.
Our jewellery boxes are made in Chudleigh, Devon, using materials we collect ourselves from local beaches. Each piece of pottery is unique, so each jewellery box is unique. Because our raw materials have spent time on the seashore our products may have small imperfections, which we think is part of the charm of beach pottery gifts. We only use materials which have rounded edges, which is why we tumble pieces which have rough edges (this continues the process begun by the waves) until they are smooth.
Please note that although beach pottery gifts offer attractive colours, these are usually not as bright as they appear in a picture on a screen.
The jewellery box will be delivered by first class mail. We usually post items within one working day of receiving payment.
