I love this striped fabric which has a dip dyed effect. I used the reverse of the fabric for this shade as it gives a more natural, muted effect that becomes more vivid when the light shines through.

Full description
Modern, dip dye effect lampshade that features horizontal stripes in coral, mauve and beige on a natural cream coloured background. The fabric is a high quality cotton and this has been neatly hand rolled on to a white flame retardant backing.
The fabric has been added to the backing with the reverse of the fabric showing, this gives a more subtle, natural and muted effect but when the light shines through the stripes become brighter and more visual, making the lampshade have a much more dramatic and colourful effect when lit.
This lampshade works either way up and therefore makes a fantastic ceiling pendant light shade, floor lamp shade or large table lamp shade.
The lampshade ring fits a standard UK 25mm light fitting and can also be easily converted to suit a larger European style 40mm light fitting by simply squeezing out the attached converter plug (very easy to do).

The lampshade will be bubble wrapped and wrapped in a protective cellophane wrapping when boxed for delivery and this should be removed before use.
