This listing is for the fabulous notebook which has been upcycled from a rescued 1976 Mandy for Girls Book. It would make a great gift for anyone who read this great annual in the 1970s or who was born in 1976.
The journal is made from the covers of previously loved vintage girls' book and 40 sheets of blank white eco-friendly cartridge paper (80 sides). The cartridge paper is lovely and thick (100gsm) and is suitable for use with ink pens. The journal is spiral bound with brass wires.
We have also included a few pages from the original book. Please bear in mind that the annual was written in less politically correct times....
The journal’s covers and pages from the books will show signs of previous loving - we think this gives them lots of character and charm!
As you can see from the photos, we also have a journal made from The June Book 1977. If you would prefer this, please contact us as we may still have one available.
