The perfect addition for any nursery, this patchwork quilt is inspired by bed covers in children's books.

Using a selection of genuinely vintage and some contemporary reproduction cotton fabrics, this little quilt has been completely stitched and quilted by hand and so is incredibly soft and comforting to feel. It also has the more traditional quilted edge instead of bound edge.

With over 50 different fabrics, made from 63 hand sewn 3 inch patchwork squares, and with a pretty pink paisley border, this quilt would compliment any colour bedroom.

The quilt measures just over 23 by 29 inches and is filled with cotton batting.

The backing is a white fabric with a pretty yellow and orange floral motif.

You can wash the quilt in a machine at 30.c but it can just as easily be hand washed. Dry flat, and DO NOT IRON......This flattens the texture of the quilting.

For no extra charge I am happy to hand embroider a small cotton label on the back with the name of your choice.
