I love the thought of bringing a little of the outside into my home and this new range of Air Plant terrarium kits are perfect for doing this. In addition they are really easy to look after.
Tillandsias, more commonly known as Air Plants, are naturally found in forests, deserts an the mountain regions of Mexico, Central and South America and the southern parts of the USA. These pretty little plants are very adaptable and will tolorate a wide range of climatic conditions and are able to grow without soil. Once they have established themselves in their new surroundings they should thrive, growing and producing flowers.
After Care
Your new purchase will prefer moderate watering and very light sunny conditions but please do not keep it in direct sunlight as it really won't like that. All you have to do to look after it is keep it in a place where the light is good and mist it a couple of times a week, more in very hot weather with a plant mister.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

Designed to bring a touch of nature into your home this pretty little red stained glass star Air Plant holder will also add a touch of colour. Designed to hang on a wall this red glass Air Plant holder can be hung in any room. Air Plants are easy to look after and would make a lovely gift for a friend or loved one on any occasion plus it would make a beautiful gift for a gardener, or as a housewarming gift.
The textured red stained glass used to created this would make this a perfect gift for someone born either in January or July. Garnet is the birthstone for January and Ruby for July which would make this a lovely gift for someone born in either month.
This glass Air Plant holder comes supplied with a Brachycaulos Multiflora which produces plenty of leaves which bend slightly as they grow. The leaves are green initially but will turn an intense red when in strong sunlight when it is due to flower. The petals of the flowers are blue.
The red stained glass star back piece was cut by hand and copper foil was applied before the piece was soldered. The wire spiral was hand wound before being attached to the star. A curly wire hanging ring was attached before the piece was washed, dried and polished with a glass cleaner and polish.
This pretty stained glass star Air Plant holder measures about 10cm, 4 inches, from side to side and 12cm, 4.5 inches high. An aftercare sheet is included to help get your new Air Plant off to a good start.
