Several years ago a friend told me that he always picked up at least one piece of rubbish and plastic every time he visits the beach, this stuck with me and I have been doing it ever since...
I have built up a large box of broken plastic over the years, including buckets and spades, Frisbees, signs and flip-flops.
The idea to use small pieces of this plastic to add a shot of colour to a clock came to me when I was at the beach recently, I am really happy with how this turned out.

Full description
This wall clock has been handmade in Norfolk from a piece of weathered driftwood collected from one of our beautiful local beaches. It has been cleaned and cut to shape, and 12 different coloured pieces of beach plastic fitted in holes drilled in the front of the clock.
This would look make a great addition to your home/beach hut or make a truly unique gift for someone special.
The clock has a quality quartz movement and takes 1 x AA Battery (included). There is a hook on the back so it is ready to hang on your wall.
