Welcome to Silver Birch Studio. My shop features a wide selection of handmade jewellery items, mainly in sterling silver with semi-precious stones.
This lovely pendant features a sterling silver setting in the shape of a wild rose flower with five petals. Garnet is the birthstone for January and the pendant would also make an ideal gift for Valentine's Day or Mother's Day. A doming punch has been used to form it into a cupped shape with an 8mm cabochon of deep red semi-precious garnet at its centre. There is an integral sterling silver loop for attaching the chain. The pendant will be supplied with a 16inch (40cm) silver trace chain and a silver bail.
The flower measures 3cm in length, including the loop, and 2.5cm in diameter. Its mass is 4.7g. Traditional silver hallmarks including my own maker's mark have been applied to the reverse side by the London Assay Office.
This pendant has been polished to a high shine, but i can easily give it a matt finish if you prefer.
This item makes an ideal gift for a gardener or nature-lover. It will be packaged in a smart gift box and despatched by a signed-for delivery service.
Oh no man knows
Through what wild centuries
Roves back the rose...
