Full description
A hand thrown Casserole pot / serving dish with a lid and lug handles. Made from buff stoneware clay and finished in a celadon glaze with a slight crackle. Iron oxide was flicked onto the pot to decorate.
In the kiln firing part of the pot was oxidised and part reduced giving a very pleasant contrast of a warm golden colour against the green celadon.
Food, dishwasher and oven safe.
High fired to 1300c
Size approx 23 cm diameter x 15 cm high including handles.
