Nostalgic hand crochet and inspired by summer
This bunting would look prefect hung across a dresser cabinet, a fire mantle (unlit fire) or for a pretty window display.
Even outdoors on a dry day as the beautiful summer weather here. This is the perfect time to be thinking about bunting, tea parties or an even bigger celebration like a wedding.
When I think of summer, I think of flowers in full bloom at the height of summer, tea parties, sandwiches cut into triangles, picnic blankets on a green lawn, fine china cups & saucers with a nice pot of hot tea. Gorgeous cakes piled high on a cake stand with tiny yummy treats served on gorgeous chinaware. Think of your family and friends happily talking, playing and laughing as the bunting gently swaying in the breeze.
This hand crochet triangle granny square bunting is hand crochet in five pretty colours, consisting of stone, red, green, blue and cream and is as quintessentially English as it gets.
One metre length has seven evenly spaced triangles and a 1 inch loop on each end for easy hanging.
The flags measure 11x11x11cm and the crocheted cord they hang on is 100cm long (incl. loops at beginning and end to hang the garland).
The garland is made of 100% cotton (washable at 30 degrees, hang out to dry and iron to get into the right shape again).
All bunting should be keep out of reach from children and away from lit fires.
