I wanted to create a pretty but classic hair comb. The amethyst nuggets really went with the pearls, and I am very pleased with the result.

Full description

This is a beautiful purple amethyst and white pearl hair comb. It uses 67.5 cts of real Amethyst gemstones, real pearls and a nickel free hair comb. This would be perfect for a prom, a wedding, or just everyday wear.

The hair comb measures 3 inches (7.5 cm) across. It is 2 and a half inches (6.5 cm) tall. The design is 1 inch (2.5 cm) high.

Pearl is the birthstone for June, and represents the 30th wedding anniversary. Amethyst is the birthstone for February, it is also associated with Pisces, Aries, Aquarius and Sagittarius. Amethyst has been used in jewellery since Neolithic times, it was even mentioned in the Old Testament as representing one of the Tribes of Israel. The gem is associated with piety, piece of mind and modesty. Amethyst is considered an ideal gemstone for those struggling or recovering from alcoholism as it is said to protect against drunkenness.

The hair comb will be presented wrapped in tissue paper in an organza gift bag. The order is sent by Royal Mail First Class Signed.
