I had some gorgeous hand faceted ruby and wanted to make something really classic with it. I decided to put it with white pearls, and it looks really stunning. This is one of those pieces that photos will never do it justice.

Full description
This is a beautiful red faceted ruby and white cultured pearl short necklace. The 10.2 cts of real ruby are hand faceted, and the real pearls are 6 mm in diameter. The silver lobster clasp just adds to the feeling of luxury.
The necklace measures 17 and a half inches (44.5 cm) long and expands to 18 inches (45.5 cm).
Pearl is the birthstone for June, and represents the 30th wedding anniversary. Ruby is the birthstone for July and is also the anniversary gemstone for both the 15th and 40th year of marriage. Ruby has been around since Roman times. It is thought to remove sadness, prevent nightmares and protect against many illnesses. Ruby is even mentioned in the bible as a 'carbuncle'.
The necklace will be presented in a gift box. The order is sent by Royal Mail First Class Signed.
