Full description
This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
It is a beautiful rainbow butterfly made with glass of all the colours of the rainbow. I've used some textured , some streaky and some iridescent glass so it has lots of shine and movement.
The head is a red glass nugget and it has curly hair just to make it a little bit quirky and little glass beads on the end of its antennae.
This will make a wonderful present.
It looks absolutely beautiful hanging in the window where it catches the light and would make a lovely ornament for any room.
This also makes a super 'bird-scarer' as it will help to stop birds flying into windows.
The suncatcher hangs from a little chain which is securely attached to the top of the butterfly.
This item is absolutely individual. I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass.
It is approximately 6.5 inches wide and 3.5 inches tall.
I can make this in any other colour that you might prefer, it doesn't have to be a rainbow.
The 5th photo is of the butterfly I made previously so you can see that though made to the same design each is unique.
