This beautiful little cup was hand thrown on the wheel and fired to 1300 degrees centigrade. The glaze contains wood ash which has created the wonderful dappled and variegated colours. Finger marks have been deliberately left on the base to show the moment when the pot was dipped in glaze. Stands just over 2.5 inches tall and around 3.5 inches wide.
A very nice cup to hold and use. Carries Mark Smalley's personal seal to the base. Minor firing cracks where the handle joins the body, hence a little cheaper than normal. They are barely visible, do not affect the functionality of the piece in any way and the handle is securely attached.
Postage and packing for this item will be at a fixed cost of £2.80.
