I purchased the Kaffe Fassett fabric for the star at a European quilting show, then later found a book on drafting my own eight-piece kaleidoscope stars which seemed a perfect use for this beautiful fabric. I set it into the green fabric to really show off the star. The flower border fabric was a lucky find on an American online quilting site, and the beautiful sunshine rose prints for the backing just seemed to really go with the whole composition.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Additional terms
You can cancel the order within seven days after receipt of the item. Providing the item is returned within seven days unused, unwashed, and without any odours such as cigarette smoke or pets, you can get a refund from the maker. My quilts can be washed in the machine on a delicates cycle, but I do not recommend tumble-drying which will shorten the life of the quilt. I dry my own quilts by spreading them out as flat as possible over a large rotary drying rack and letting them air dry.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
Full description
A unique design featuring a vibrant eight-pointed star kaleidoscope pieced from a vivid Kaffe Fassett fabric of pink roses, yellow trumpet flowers and sunflowers. The star is set in a leafy green print, and surrounded by a deep border of cheerful flowers reaching up towards the colourful butterflies bobbing overhead.
The backing is pieced from two pretty prints with sunshine yellow backgrounds, one featuring full blown pink roses, and the other a stripe of small roses and twining ribbons. The hand-guided machine quilting is in a repeating cloud-like scrolling design.

This lovely quilt measures approximately 68” square so could be used on UK mattress sizes single or double, or as a throw. The photograph on the bed displays the quilt on a 60” x 80” king size mattress for reference.
The quilt top, binding and backing fabric are all quality 100% cotton quilting material. The internal wadding is a high quality soft 100% polyester.
