Full description
This unique steampunk-style ring might be the perfect gift for a female scientist or engineer. It is constructed from chunky 4mm wide sterling silver D-wire, decorated with a domed circle of sterling silver 1mm thick and 18mm in diameter which is firmly soldered to the ring. Inside the dome I have soldered a cluster of nine stainless steel ball bearings to celebrate our engineering heritage! They have been treated chemically to create little hints of copper in the background. This is a robust contemporary piece with a satisfyingly weighty feel to it. The size is M/N.
