Full description
This Rusty Metal Wall Clock has been made from a very neglected vintage tin bath. The bottom of the bath had rusted away completely, however there were parts of the sides which were still strong enough to use.
I cleaned the metal, then cut out the clock face, hammered it flat, drilled holes at the hour points and fitted it to an MDF board with screws. Finally several coats of artists quality spray varnish were applied to protect and enhance it. The rusty patina gives the clock a really unique and natural look.
This is a one of a kind clock which looks great and will be a talking point.
There is a hook on the back of the clock, so this is ready to hang from your wall.
The clock has a quality quartz movement and takes 1 x AA Battery (included).
