Full description
These earrings have a really modern designer look to them. I have designed these earrings for those of you who like something a little different! Made using gorgeous Mookaite (a jasper from Australia) with its earthy tones and opaque habit - the stones have been cut into cones and colour matched as closely as possible. I have also used super carnelian gems, cut into lentils or puffed discs, their warm, translucent freshness really works well with the mookaite as it catches the light.
The earrings have been made by suspending the gemstones on sterling silver wire and wrap looping them by hand to create a strong link, without the need for soldering.
The drops have then been linked on to sterling silver fish hook style ear wires for comfort and the wires have been filed by hand to ensure there are no snags that can cause irritation.
The earrings measure 4.5cm approx. in length and have been stamped 925 for sterling silver.
