Full description
This small Ash bowl has been made from a 200 year old tree that was brought down naturally in strong winds when a larger nearby Beech tree that fell into it. The wood has been allowed to dry naturally for over a year before being turned.
The profile of the bowl is simple and finishes in a small foot that sets of its elegance. Once turned the bowl has been sanded smooth before being waxed with liming wax to subtly accentuate the open grain, it has then been buffed to a lovely shine.
Ideal for holding wrapped sweets or small jewellery pieces. This would make a perfect gift.
