I looked at the light pull handle in my bathroom, it was a small white plastic blob, I had the idea whilst having a bath, why not use a piece of tactile driftwood!

Full description
I have made several simple little driftwood light pull handles suitable for a bathroom or toilet, where a conventional light switch is not safe.
This one is made from a single piece of driftwoo and is just over 5" long and has a recycled piece of cord wrapped round the top for effect.
I have screwed a silver coloured eye in the top for the string to be attached (not supplied I'm afraid).
It is nice and tactile, good to hold, safe as well!
