I was watching an Edwardian period drama on TV, and got inspired by the jewellery. I decided to have a go at the style but wanted to give it a modern twist. The Carnelian gemstones and chips really make the design bright and beautiful. The heart clasp is just a pretty finishing touch.

Full description
This is a beautiful orange and white carnelian short necklace. It is made with real Carnelian gemstone beads and chips. The graduation of oranges and whites make it a very versatile piece. (It looks great with the matching earrings that are available to buy seperately)
Carnelian is a member of the Chalcedony family of gemstones. The Egyptians believed that wearing this gemstone would help you after death. Carnelian is know for its warm and friendly meaning. It has also been said to have healing properties.
The necklace measures 18 and a half inches (47cm), and its drop is 1 and a half inches. (4cm)
It is finished off with a heart clasp in silver plated copper.
The necklace will be presented in an organza bag.
