I have been making lots of papier stuff for the last month or so as I have been unable to sew due to a slipped disc and sitting has been impossible ! So ... I have been stood up in the kitchen making an almighty mess ! My back is now much better and I did sit to sew Teddy Girls clothes.

Full description
Teddy Girl is made from papier mache with a paper clay head.The armature for the head and body started with some scrunched up waste plastic (which would have gone into landfill otherwise),then covered in foil, the body covered in paper from a vintage book and the head covered in paper clay. Her face has been painted with acrylics then varnished .Her teddy suit is made from boiled lambswool and angora ,then randomly stitched with vintage darning wool.
She measures about 20 cms. to the top of her ears.
Sold as a collectable and not suitable for children.
