Full description
A wood engraving of a poppy head in a walled garden; a simple yet sculptural seedhead.
Carved by hand on an end-grain wood block and then printed by hand in black oil ink on lovely thick off-white Somerset paper.
Signed and numbered by the artist (Jon). This is number 1 of an edition of 25.
The printed area measures 3.5cm x 5.5cm, the paper size is larger to allow a margin for framing.
This printed is unmounted and unframed.
