I made this for a commission. Specification was for an 8 inch lizard which was cute.
i liked what I had designed so much I added it to my catalague and have now made this one to sell in my Folksy shop.

Full description
This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
It is a brand new design, a lizard and a rather cute lizard at that.
It is made from lovely textures of glass in green and teal shades, some streaky, some iridescent. The feet are glass beads and there are 5 wire claws on each foot. Its nostrils are tiny metal spacer beads, its eyes little flower beads.
I've made a bendy tail from 6 little cube beads and finished off the cuteness with curly eyelashes.

It looks lovely hanging in the window where it shines and catches the light. It would make a wonderful and totally unique present.
The suncatcher hangs from a little chain which is securely attached by a soldered wire ring. It is 8 inches long.
This item is absolutely unique. I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass.
The 5th photo is of the first lizard I made for a commission so you can see that each is unique though both are made to the same design.
